Dayleaf

One tap from your wrist

Use case · August 29, 2026

The hardest part of journaling isn't writing — it's starting. By the time you've found your phone, opened the app, and tapped into an editor, the thought is half gone. Dayleaf's Apple Watch app is built around a single idea: the distance between a thought and a saved entry should be one tap.

Auto-capture

Turn on One-Tap Capture in Settings → Apple Watch, choose your action — dictate an entry, or record a voice memo — and pick which planner it lands in. From then on, opening the watch app is the capture: the recorder is already running, or dictation is already listening. Speak, tap done, drop your wrist.

Voice memos that write themselves

Voice memos recorded on the watch land in your journal with the audio attached — and moments later, the transcript appears as entry text, transcribed on your device by Apple's speech engine. Your rambling walk-home thought becomes a searchable entry.

Your goals, on your wrist

Daily, weekly, and monthly goals show up right on the watch — check them off without touching your phone, and watch your streak grow.

⌚️ Add the Dayleaf complication to your watch face and the whole flow becomes: raise wrist → tap the leaf → speak. The Apple Watch app is part of Dayleaf Pro — one purchase, every device.
